01/05/2025 As of Saturday (01/03) we are in outbreak status due to a single employee testing positive for Covid. This employee does not have regular, direct contact with residents so at this time, we are monitoring for signs and symptoms rather than testing residents and all-staff. We are testing employees that directly worked with this individual on Friday (01/02) and so far, no one else has tested positive. If there are no further positive cases, we will be off outbreak status on Sunday, January 18th.
11/09/25 We are no longer in outbreak status.
11/05/25 We are still in outbreak status for Covid but expected to be out of that status on Sunday, November 9th – there are currently no staff or residents that are testing positive for Covid and no staff off work or residents on isolation due to a prior positive Covid test.
10/27/25 We are currently in outbreak status for covid (one resident has tested positive for Covid, though we do not believe the infection was acquired at Simpson Home). If there are no further positive cases, we will be off outbreak status on Sunday, November 9th.
10/13/2025 We are no longer in an outbreak status and have no positive cases of Covid among residents or employees.
10/8/2025 There are currently no covid positive residents or employees – we will continue to monitor for signs and symptoms and test as appropriate, but if there are no further positive cases, we will no longer be in outbreak status as of Monday, October 13th.
9/25/25 We are currently in outbreak status for covid (as of 09/29, two employees and one resident have tested positive for covid during this outbreak).
1/7/25 We continue to have NO covid or flu outbreaks.
10/25/24 Out of outbreak status.
